Two Indian High Commission Officials Missing In Islamabad

Two Indian High Commission Officials have been missing from Islamabad, Pakistan since today morning. The officials were on duty when they went missing. The Government of India has contacted the External Affairs Ministry of Pakistan and asked them to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The fact that this incident happened two weeks after two Pakistani officials have been deported from India on charges of spying raises suspicion. It is suspected that Pakistan has abducted them in retaliation to the deportation of its officials. There have been unverified reports that the ISI abducted them. Indian Officials have been facing harassment in Pakistan for a long time. Ringing doorbells at midnight and running away, harassing phone calls, cutting off power and water supplies, and chasing cars of Indian officials in Pakistan have become common.
